So wearing mass quantities of one's bead passion is somehow less valid than keeping them on the wall or in drawers??? Or perhaps collecting mass quantities of beads made from a beautiful natural material like amber is somehow less valid than collecting mass quantities of beads made from powder glass i.e.. kiffa or bodom or mass quantities beads made of glass from furnaces industrial or small , or perhaps beads made from stone be it turquoise or agate??? Some time back the forum presented pictures of ladies from the high himalayas dripping in silver and amber and turquoise. Where were the smart allek remarks then?
I think the lady in this thread presented a fabulous opportunity to the public to see all that amber and to understand how joyously light it is, and she did so tastefully in the context of a historical reenactment. She could have just as easily kept it on a wall at home and enjoyed it by herself as most bead collectors do.
Smart allek remarks could be made about most everything presented on this forum in one or another context, but most folks are not that shallow and have better manners.
