Hello Stefany and Jamey. I enclose the pictures of the ends of the islamic bead you are referring to: they are clearly not hot pinched. Beads like this were not uncommon to be seen in Mali in the '80s. Size: 17 x 17 mm, perforation 3 mm. Ciao
