This bead was hiding in a showcase in Katmandu antique shop at the back. I only saw about 1/3 of the bead. It also has the same tinytiny hole. Second picture shows the hole
It has a wonderful ring when touched by the other beads.

Can the group please tell me when diamond drill technology was started in the ancient times in India?? I would like to read about development of diamond drilling in ancient times.
