you and BCN keep part of the world bead community alive.

i'm spending this weekend at a small 3-day upmarket craft market in the area of new development behind Kings Cross Railway Station in London -close to where i live- not selling much but its well-organised and subsidised -to bring more people into the area, so not ridiculously expensive to participate, and nobody else there this weekend has beads or jewellery and items of bead interest.

I might still be just in time, US time: may all your bead wishes come alive! And I can't thank you enough for keeping this bead community alive and kicking.

It's been a nice day of not working, going out to the ocean for awhile, visiting seagulls, cormorants and a couple of seals. Though we are only 1/2 hour away from the Pacific, I just don't get out there enough!

Yesterday, 8/26 we again escaped the miserable heat inland ( to me, above 80 degrees is miserable heat) to the beautiful coast for an annual visit to my coastal home town. One of the 10 perfect days out there per year, mid 70s sunshine, surfers, salt air and slow driving, frightened tourists (land slides, constuction, hairpin curves on coast hwy one can be a challenge).....no beads found, but this is not bead territory...although I did find my first Venetians ever there on the coast in the early 70s....
