As you know we are preparing for Tucson. We have had this strand for many years and are at our wits end as to any information we may or may not received when we purchased them.

Sorry for the images too lazy to walk outside.

Any feedback would be wonderful.

All my best .... Danny

Hi Danny

Its hard to tell because of photograph. At a quick glance they look Venetian early 1900's. A picture with better lighting so we can see the shades of color and a closeup of a hole would make it easier to identify.

Its been a long day I will take them outside in the morning and post better images. I should have known better than to get lazy.

I usually complain when someone posts bad images and then I do it.

All my best ...... Danny

the threading with macrame or buttonhole stitch at the back looks Indonesian to me.
the beads resemble a classic old Venetian pattern, but they were so desired in Indonesia, etc. that they could easily be locally made lookalikes - or better described as "tributes". they have slightly cruder trail decoration than we are used to from Venice. Also i found in Sarawak in 2013 that yellow is a top popular colour there...
