I discovered a while ago that BCN will not display attached images unless the file extension is .jpg.

Most current software exports images with the .jpeg extension. I have to manually change the file extension to get the image to display on BCN - otherwise, a "link" appears that must be clicked to see the image. I'm not sure this is actually a link however.

Bottom line is that people are not deliberately using links - they are using newer software that exports a .jpeg image and BCN, being it is antiquated software, cannot display the file(s) like it did in the good old days.

More and more people will not understand the difference and even be able to edit the file extensions unless they take pains to learn how to do this. I'm not sure how to do it from a cell phone running iOS or Android for example.

Another sign of the times is that I cannot access BCN using the Brave browser, due to BCN not having up to date security features. I can access using Safari however. I think pretty soon the site will not be accessible to any modern browsers - only to those using relatively old software.

BCN has had a great run and I'm sorry to see it becoming dormant as well as probably inaccessible in the near future.
