here the room is coming along, the back wall racks are somewhat in place, some of the tables are ready..... unless you have done this before, you don't truly realize the amount of work a good set-up takes!

these are all a bit different from one another, some shows extreme wear, these are possibly the oldest, some is more nugget types, probably newer....all is most likely from China and most was sourced in Tibet

as we have heard numerous times when talking about bead collecting, it is so much about the people, I did not get many photos but a saw a great number of wonderful people, thank you all for visiting!!!
last shots are of Bassem licking a bead and conversing with Mat from Tiger Tiger, last picture is of Danny Lopacki in his room after Art had moved his beads out.....I hope you all had a great Tucson show, looking forward to next year!!!!

If I ever wanted to go before, it is beyond a necessity now! Those shots just made my mouth water. What an amazing collection you have. I hope you did wonderfully at the show...I can't imagine people not promising their 1st (or last) child to you in order to obtain some of those treasures. Thanks for sharing & for sealing the deal for me that I must save my pennies so I can get there next year. I loved seeing my favorite Mauritanian silver beads, Agrab Al Fadda..particularly the one with the unworn spikes, in the Kiffa case! And the strand with the carved amber is unbelievably gorgeous! Ahh...you've made my day. Thank you! Lynne (P.S. Why is Bassem licking a bead?)
