Hello Lee,

I was puzzled by this bead and asked Jamey Allen what he thinks about it. His response:

"It appears to be a Chinese millefiori bead, possibly made during the Occupation of China by the Japanese, at Boshan--most likely in the 1930s (+ or -).

I doubt there would be any real association with Indo-Pacific beads, that would be much older.

I hope this is helpful."
