I was having minor knee surgery, so I have an excuse for not wishing the most fantastic online bead lady in the UNIVERSE a very happy birthday! Thanks for all you (and David) do for us!!
Birthdays...aren't really my cup of tea anymore...but I did arrange ( as I must months in advance) to get the day off, because I really hate working on my birthday even if I don't really celebrate it.
David gave me a full length strand of opaque black 19th c. "Russian cut" beads, purchased from a very generous forumite! I very much love those beads, which were made in quite a few colors in addition to blue. And I had only a very few black ones.
And Thai food for dinner was a nice thing. Over the past 20 years or so, Thai food has become so expensive in our area that we consider it "special".
