Question on Blue Feathers

Hello all -- I got a hank of strands of these blue Venetian feather beads in one of the Michaan's auctions. I typically only see a few of these beads, and often with kiffa beads. But I have no idea what they sell for or how rare they really are -- any thoughts?

I don't know why they seem to be rare, I don't believe they are that rare, just a bit pricey, $100-$400 per strand (wholesale)is probably a good guess... the reason you find them with Kiffas occasionally is because they resemble the blue lozenge bracelet Kiffas....a great find and score!!!

Trailed Garland is another name for them

We've used the name garland for them for a few years but I don't know where that name came from.
Perhaps because the trailing looks faintly like a Roman garland?

Have I heard the name "laurel" for them too?

Again, possibly because the trailing looks like a laurel wreath?
