I am not one to upset the cart, but these all look authentic and ancient to me, Morfia and other Fustat finds types, Islamic period, some possibly older, the first bead posted is the only one I have no clue based on the picture but the others look nice and authentic to me! Thomas

Something in the brightness of the colours and the finish makes me think they could be well made Indonesian replicas. Not sure at all, but something to consider.

the Indo copies have a totally different surface wear, unfortunately Nish posted pictures that are a bit too small for some to see the beads glass age efficiently but I can tell they are not new, I have a considerable amount of both types for comparison and I truly believe these are older.
The pictures are of older types related to Nish's beads

Hi Christine, a friend, Louise Ingram is a very talented contemporary glass bead artist, here is some of her work, she is one of a very few trying to recreate some of the ancients using traditional methods, she is also well versed in the Viking period types, as well as many others

I was reminded of the very nice ones made by Greg Gilardy that he posted 10/08. Informative thread from that time posted below.

I put this strand together myself over the last 10 or 12 years from about 5 or 6 different trader's strands of ancient glass beads. I have personally seen three or four of the "Mercedes-Peace sign" beads over the years. They are not common perhaps, but available occasionally.
