can anyone remember the name of a gemstone - i bought some years ago at Tucson, one bead with a sort of chatoyancy - brownish, but cut in such a way that you can see a black "X" or cross on it !! will try to do a photo to send...

Image problem -format not accepted- will try again later if possible-

perhaps because of the chatoyancy against a black background the stone appears pale pink- on white its a dark brown- the X figure is black in each case...

i might even send my photo personally to Joyce who might be able to do some clever manoeuvring ??

Might it be Chiastolite—Cross-Stone (?)
