Hello everyone,

It has been a long time since I checked in here.
Lovely to find the conversation ongoing.

I found this Chin necklace some time ago in a vintage shop. I've been puzzling over the black beads at the back near the shell pieces. I think they must be amber, but would welcome learned opinions. They are relatively light weight and quite irregular.

Once upon a time I recollect being informed these were something connected with banana plants... not the tiny seed inside the fruit, obviously.
