I recently acquired this strand. I'm trying to figure out if any of these are 1980s reproductions. Some look very old. Others show little wear. Any opinions?

Also, a very large number of trade beads have survived 100 or more years in very good to excellent condition so condition alone is not a good indicator. That, and some repros are being artificially aged.

Thanks Roseanne. Here are some better closeups. I acquired these from a bead collector who purchased them in Tucson about 30+ years ago. I appreciate your comments.

WGN van der Sleen referred to this pattern as an "Arabesque."

Since "Lewis & Clark" is nonsense, and a previous descriptive name was devised..., why not use it?
