I actually was going to pass on the Gem Show this year, but last night I met with some friends and ended up with a dealers pass to the G&LW show. So now I'm a bit poorer than I was. I spent most of my funds on some Akoso beads. In this photo the two on the left were $25 each, the bead on the bottom right was $50, and the Large round was $80. Pretty pricey by my standards but I liked them.

Here is the result showing my Akoso strand before and after the additions. I think it will hang much better now. Not sure what I'll do with the ring that I took out.

I also picked up some Ghana Strands since I like to cherry pick those. I didn't go too overboard searching them but I found some. These two I got for $20 each. They both had some tabular beads and I liked the black and white feather bead on the second strand.

I also encountered Bully at this show and purchased this Ghana strand from him for $25. I also found this strand of nuts at one of the booths for $15. And that pretty much broke the bank for me.

Your Ghana powder glass strand is “rounding out” nicely! Remembering from days past…the old dollar tent…and at some point they became the “ buck- thirty” tent….I wonder if they are still in business….

The last time I was at the Grant Road show which I think was 3 years ago there was a vendor that I think was that group. Everything was $4+ though, and if they're still there it has probably gone up.
