BCN has been quiet lately - probably we've all been busy with the usual, as well as the unusual, holiday "stuff" this year.

Here's one of my newly completed projects. I finally found complementary green elbows to go with the rare cruciform-design Venetians. The Czech elbows were a steal at 40 cents each!

Please post one of your new projects - completed or not!

I was on a jewelry-making roll all year, but have switched to making more "shrines" the last few months. I finally found a eork-around to connecting the old wood boxes and I've been washing, sanding, painting, staining, and connecting boxes like crazy! But maybe I can add a bead or two here and there so I can post some pics...

I made this a couple years ago, but it's been updated.

New ones in my studio, in process. And multiply this by 5, because I am crankin' 'em out!

The recycled plastic used in 2006 by the Hamer people living in Ethiopia was made of western rice bags and now almost completely disintegrated. So I thought it is my responsibility to stabilize and restore it and give it back some of its former glory

The 0,6 mm monofilament fishline gives it the same stiffness and appearance as the material used before
