This has been Bugging Me Badly. Way back- like 25 years ago you could buy Yards of Cotton Fabric that had Millefiori African Trade Beads printed on it! I sure wish I had bought some at the time. It actually was really cool looking, and good detail, as I recall. It came in several different color mixes- Maybe I should look in the Back of some Old issues of Ornament? Gotta be so Obscure by now...I don't hold much hope of finding any. Maybe just confirmation that it existed would placate me for awhile. Thanks, Anne

I bought it less than ten years ago and can't recall what happened to it. I think I gave it away...maybe the person I gave it to will remember. Anyway, there is a seller on ebay named spoonflowerfabrics that will custom print fabric for you, so if you can supply a design to them, my guess is that you'll be able to reproduce something that will work for you. Also - Stefany had some wrapping paper printed with trade beads so maybe she can provide the artwork.

She designed a couple of fabulous bead prints around 25 years ago. This one has fifteen colors. I got it from her sister at a Rendezvous in trade for beads. I have another one or two somewhere. This one was later printed in Africa in seven colors. The upper fabric in the first picture and the second picture are the African prints, both nice fabrics though not as bright or crisp as the original.

I have a 2 yard piece. For a time some of the traders used it as tablecloth. What a great outfit Stefany has! I have since found a nice long piece from Etsy. Different print, but with chevrons. Keep hunting, you will find some. :)

Anne,
I did another deep dive into my fabric hoard and found this. I have a one yard piece of 40" width. If you would like it, I'd be happy to send it along to you if you would kindly cover the postage. If you don't have my email, please message me through BCN with yours.
