First, for ShuD, Kai is 16 and new to this forum. S/he should be treated with respect and encouraged. A few posts below, s/he wrote: "Hi everyone, I am new to this so I hope the pictures come through. I am not new to beads as my father has collected them over the years. I have just started to show an interest in them and their meaning to tribal peoples... So he (Kai's father) suggested I join this group and get opinions, so as to make my own mind up. So thanks for your opinions in advance. kai 16 years and a not so rich student." ShuD, your response to a 16-year old or even to a 60-year old was totally inappropriate. Try a little civility next time.
Kai, I've been reading your posts and am impressed by your collection. You seem to have developed a very good eye. I look forward to reading more of your posts.

Thank you Jill, glad you liked the beads. I am a he. I was named after one of King Arthur's knights. He is usually called Sir Kay, but originally his name was Kai, it has been bastardised over the centuries to Kay. It is pronounced Kie. I also think it is a Maori word, to devour or to eat.
