Looks important particularly if you love faceted and moulded glass beads ...

How would you find the one you wanted? So many necklaces.... overwhelming.

Yes. I wonder too. How did she display? When having so much, how could she locate a certain piece? -unless her collection was well organized.

Each of us collects and displays differently. I have little on intentional display. And my beads are hardly organized. When I was doing shows, I was forced to keep my inventory somewhat organized. Now, I never allow anyone in my beadroom so that I can only blame myself when something is misplaced. If I cannot find it, I cannot blame someone else because I know no one else has been in that room.

Sometimes I think I collect because I enjoy the process of collecting more than ownership. But this is all very crazy. So, I will think about it another day.

After all: "Tomorrow is another day."

Interesting - I am obsessive about the organizing part

And I get crazy if I can't find a particular bead or beads that I know I have - generally this prompts a massive re-organization so I can locate things more easily - until the next time I can't find something.

But I have to admit that this collection appears to be truly vast.

Look up her name in google. There are two days of auctions. Day 1 includes paperweights and glassware. Day 2 is jewelry and watches.... maybe more, I didn't look at all of it.
