A friend asked me to sell this necklace for her. She remembers buying it from Picard Beads as a long, single strand necklace from Africa which she shortened and wore as a sort of badass Elizabethan collar.
I've been unable to unearth an image of chandelier crystals in use in jewelry anywhere in Africa.
Am I missing something big?

The second strand is a mystery to me as well. The same friend purchased it - I think from Picard again - as European glass.

Any direction would be hugely appreciated
