More questionable Venetians

I think these were discussed a while ago, and I think they are relatively new Indian, not old Venetian. I have a strand in the dark blue version.

This bead type has recently resurfaced on eBay as Venetian from the trade bead era.

OK, thanks. Now I know they are from India.

I have one. It has a crack through the center and will fall apart one day.

I got these from the James Lewis collection, so I estimate they are from the 1980s or so. I saw one on eBay represented as a rare German marble bead.

Size is a nice 19.5 mm diameter.

They pop up every now and then, including here on BCN.
Don't know if there was consensus, but they look Indian to me. The large, unfinished hole gives them away, I think.

we used to sell some like them from my Indian supplier - they have wide holes.
