Imagine that you were traveling through Harappa and the Indus River Valley across the Hindu Kush, maybe you were a Trader yourself during the 2nd millennium BC prior to the so-called invasion of the "Sea Peoples". At each Bazaar or Trader's stop you picked up a few beads, some matching, some not. Some ancient already and some maybe recently made. What kind of necklace would you make of the beads you collected?

Here is mine below, made from a mix of styles and time periods, though all prior to 1200 BC, I believe. The gold beads are contemporary, but not so different than what you might find during the period.

Thanks for looking,

Jan

I love it when advanced collectors share their beautiful rare beads, of course.

Beautiful necklace, and obviously wearable.

The gold beads are also from the Indus Valley.
The necklace is of course temporarily strung.

Love it. Wish father had given me a necklace like that when I was a boy. It would be highly valued.
