yesterday's purchases in London -2 chokers at an antique market

for a total of £50.- = $64.50
1920s choker of graduated pink with orange Czech satin glass spherical beads, plus a choker-length featuring 5 matching large round recent but traditional style Indonesian millefiori, matte finish, with polished amber chips.
the vendor had been told by some "Expert" not to get it wet or the Millefiori patterns would wash off!
the Czech beads are moulded in at least 8 sizes...
i hope the image does them justice...

The exchange rate is good. And it is fun to see what you have come up with. Cheers.

The expert was correct - though not precise enough in his prediction!

The pattern would wash off indeed. Depends on conditions. Take them to the right spot at IGUAZU and this expert is proven correct within a day or less. The sour rain of London would take longer, but might also finish the job. Maybe this expert was a politician with inside knowledge about London's damaging "acid rain".

Keep your marbles dry, Stefany!
