Been buying a lot of ancient beads this year. My favorite type is what I call elongated bi-cone. Here are two images of the majority of this type bead we have and will be displaying this year.

Found in the Indus/Swat valley. If anyone has feedback on this style bead as to the main culture they came from I would love hearing you opinion.

Largest bead 64.4mm 2.53 inch in second image.

Enjoy ....... Danny

This is the largest that we have it is nearly 3 inches long. I have it upstairs and fondle it every night when Suzi and I sit and visit. Slowly but surely it is improving in looks as it had major calcite patina when first purchased. It is a very nice agate below the calcite.

I will be looking forward to seeing (and fondling) some of those great beads!

Peter and I will be heading for Tucson in 2017 again. This time, I will actually be a seller as well. At the Sonoran glass art show, I will be exhibiting my glass art. It's only a 4 day show, so I will have plenty of time left to meet with my bead collecting friends!
