I was serching for another subject and i found this link intresting for
nice gold work from Parthian perid.link is persian but i tried to use translate for information and important part.

Gold Hill archaeological site in northern Afghanistan and was excavated in 1978. 6 graves discovered in the area, all of which are full of valuable golden objects. A total of more than twenty thousand pieces of gold is obtained from the graves. The graves belong to the first century BC.

I had the pleasure of seeing some of these pieces as part of this show when it was at the Asian Museum in San Francisco. There is nothing quite as luscious as high-karat gold artifacts. I enjoyed looking at them for a long, long time, trying to imagine what these people looked like in all their finery. There were a couple of re-creations of the pieces lying as they were discovered.
