Adjustable length, wool felt, antique himalayan (Italian) mosaic coral beads, antique himalayan turquoise bead, antique (Chinese?) silver beads, turks head, and barrel knots. The cord is not as pink as it appears. Fun job. :) Thank you.

How did you cut, color and fray the wool felt? Are the silver beads inlaid with coral?

Originally, I started with red felt the emulate the Nepali tilhari , but it was to much competition for the coral. I did stuff the large silver beads with the red felt to fill the cavernous aperture, then just traced each bead onto the natural felt, and cut out. Thankfully my client loves the compilation.

The end... :)

Jake,

Have tried cutting felt from the fabric store and it doesn't look like yours.
You mentioned "natural"; the edge of yours seems to have a ruffled look?

Wool felt?

Most hobby felt is rayon or other synthetic materials. I'm guessing "natural" felt is either 100% wool or a wool blend. It's nice stuff!
