I've been a pebble puppy (less professional than a rock hound) all my life. These are small pebbles I collected from a beach at Point Reyes. I've been told some of them are "jade". All I know is there are 3-4 shades of green I've collected, ranging from deep green to an almost translucent 'aventurine'-looking in color. (The bright green one in the middle at the bottom is sea glass.)
