Hello to all, long time no speaky,

I have an ancient faience pendant bead, possibly Persian or Egyptian. It is really neat looking, but I am having trouble identifying what it actually represents.

Maybe it's my ancient bead eyes, but what is it? I cannot determine a gender for one thing, it doesn't appear to have any male parts, but is it a female? Maybe a goddess figure. At first glance I thought it was a "Bes" figure, the Dwarf god.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Best to all,

Jan Skipper, Mosquitobay
