While sorting out some red and white on black thin disk "aja" beads, I came across one that was made from a 4-layer rosetta cane (center bead in photo).

I've often wondered about beads like this - where the detail would not be visible when the bead is strung. Any comments about this phenomenon would be welcome - as well as examples of your own hidden beauties.
