the big ones you show and call pecan nuts ressemble to me as Hevea Brasiliensis seeds (Hevea nut) The rubber tree.
The flying saucer ones I have in sparkling red and those are Red sandalwood, Adenanthera pavonina. Maybe yours belong to the same family?
