Hello Mininga,

What can you tell us about your beads? Where were they acquired, and what were you told?

The beads do appear to be very old. If they were mine, the first thing I would do is to refresh the material with a bath in canola oil. (Or you can place some oil in the palms of your hands, rub them together, and massage the beads carefully.)

Unfortunately, even with broad experience, it can be difficult to ID plain beads, that might have been made at many places, or that were sent abroad to many receivers.

Here is a search I just formatted on "amber beadman" 5000 to 4000 days ago—that includes a LONG post I composed in 2007, when I attended a HUGE amber show in Naples, Italy. You will see a lot of beads that are similar to yours:
