I'm curious about the origin of the beads on this belt ornament from Ladakh / Tibet. Are they "Padre Beads" from Bavaria or might they be Chinese in origin? If they are Chinese would it be correct to call them Peking Glass Beads? The ornament itself was purchased in the early 80's. and was old at the time. *** I can not seem to save the image down to an acceptable size so am including the link to a discussion on the Ethnic jewels community.
