I love well constructed stone bead necklaces. I still buy the occasional piece if it is a size, shape, or color I don't already own, or the length pairs well with another necklace. If the knotting is intact and the clasp functions well it goes into my personal stash. If it does not improve my wearable collection I sell it. If it is broken I keep it for restringing or composing new necklaces.
