In this new endeavor with ancient style inspired beads I have been experimenting with how to make certain shapes, this bead was a lead up to the petrified wood bead. I have to say that this is without a doubt the most delicate bead I have ever made.

This bead is made of agate and I am most happy with the look of the final piece, it has extremely thin walls (1mm) and only weighs in at 9.5 carats (less than two grams).
