Men's short necklace.
Coconut shell heishi, with large antique amber beads of the kind found mainly in North West Africa.
Warning!, the model was NOT a bulky guy ;-)
Men's short necklace.
Coconut shell heishi and jasper of so called Mali stone short cylinder beads -- supposedly from a Neolithic culture...and looking really very primitive.
An example of the "less is more" bias.
Antique amber and silver: plain spheres, granulated cylinders, and a few small star shaped beads.
Everything from Yemen, except the tiny stars, which are from Marroc.
Last but not least, three necklaces made of hardstone disc beads found in Nepal. These are supposedly several centuries old, but I have been unable to make my mind on this subject, from what I read.
There are also a few gold-wrapped cococut shell heishi accent beads.
I hope you enjoyed the show!
