Not my remark at all!

What I said about The Jenne digs is that I think they include GLASS TRADE BEADS that date from as late as the 16th/17th Cs. Thereby extending the proposed time range by nearly 300 years. That, of course assumes that these beads were "from Jenne digs." Which I don't know to be a fact; but which has been claimed.

I have remarked nothing (repeat, nothing) about dating Dogon beads, because I haven't any idea how this would be pursued. And I remarked that I don't see any association between recovered Dogon beads that would bring Jenne beads into the discussion—which was predicated by you.
