Original Message: Help needed for unusual bead |
---|
Any ideas about this bead? It is about 31 mm long, and has an irregular pattern of white crumbs, plus two irregular bands of aventurine. The surface shows a reasonable amount of fine pitting and one large damage "pit" - both features indicating that the bead has been around for a "while". To my eye, it looks too messy a composition to be a Venetian bead. What do you think? All rights reserved by Bead Collector Network and its users |
