Here's an interesting item - nice, chunky (12.4 mm diameter) black bi-cone beads on what appears to be the original, knotted cord. There is a trace of blue in the incised design.

Two of these strands came together in an order from a well-established Czech bead and jewelry seller, so I'm sure these are vintage Czech beads, likely from the "Egyptian Revivial" period of Czech bead-making in the 20s-30s.

The beads will likely need to be re-threaded but there are enough to make a spectacular necklace!

Hi Rosanna,

I just retrieved my password so am back on beadcollector after a long absence. If these beads are like the ones I bought from you at the Oakland show (I think they are), I would love to have them.
