Here are some details on some of the places I have found beads in Amsterdam -

Tarwan - 200 block of Herengracht - mostly ethnic jewelry, some beads, mainly Afghani, Pakistan and Turkoman antique jewelry

Baobab - Valkenburgerstraat 124 - beads and jewelry from all over the world. Lots of ethnic jewelry. Attached below is a link.

Coppenhagen Kralen (beads) - Rozengracht 54 - my favorite stop in Amsterdam.....great beads, museum quality displays, VERY nice people. Ask for Niko and ask him if you can see his old beads.

Tropenmuseum, Operated by the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT), has a GREAT gift shop with lots of beads PLUS a fantastic exhibit on beads and beadwork running through may.
