I believe the manufacturing technique on the Islamic bead you show is identical to the technique on the bead I show...the main difference is color, nice bead!

Yours is a kiffa bead, made in the likeness of an Islamic, folded glass bead. But not Islamic. But it is a supper kiffa bead and they are very collectable $$$
