I bought these ages ago, I need more for a project, and they are now almost impossible to find.

One strand is priced at $250. I'm pretty sure I did not pay that much when I bought them. Are they really that valuable now??

Any thoughts, suggestions, sources? Thanks!!

If you search "coral powder glass" on Etsy for example, you'll get quite a few hits but I haven't seen a whole lot of this nicely finished long tapered shape, even in the past. Most are cylinders or barrels with squared-off ends.

I'll keep an eye out, but good luck finding these!

I went through my bead stash and found lots of other examples, but none like the handful of oval-shaped tubes.

Jamey, thanks for the in-depth info. I'll set these big ones aside for now, and work with more common versions.

I've been "mudding" mine (like I do with my ivory artifacts) and that helps them look more like coral.
