i would like to understand these which i threaded together but they may have come from different places, middle east?.
the substantial jasper pendant has circle-dot motifs on both sides.
the white piece with scratched pattern seems to be harder than shell, so agate or jasper,
the disc with a sizeable hole is not geometrically even and seems to be more rough, like granite maybe?

The disc is andesite most likely a common volcanic rock that is more mafic , darker minerals overall , than rhyolite which is the volcanic rock that is chemically identical to granite. Each class of rock has extrusive and intrusive analogs with the rhyolite extrusive. The intrusive analog to andesite would be diorite. Neither diorite or andesite are widely used in bead making which is a shame as andesite tends to have an attractive open grain such as in this piece.

so andesite, rhyolite, thank you frank- where might this ring or disc shape have originated, and can anyone suggest what to look up for the decorated pendant and the smaller engraved white element?
