Picture #1 shows huge chevrons and glass beads made to look like coral
Picture #2 shows venetian 'Cornaline d'Aleppo' beads that have been facetted and ground into new shapes.

I was there today and it was something of a bust for me. All of those $10 - $20 Chinese glass strands are now $30 - $60. The cheap beads are going away. Bargains seem to be hard to come by these days.
