As always, it is about the beads and the people!
First, some images from the African Art Village
Picture #1 shows huge chevrons and glass beads made to look like coral
Picture #2 shows venetian 'Cornaline d'Aleppo' beads that have been facetted and ground into new shapes.

I was there today and it was something of a bust for me. All of those $10 - $20 Chinese glass strands are now $30 - $60. The cheap beads are going away. Bargains seem to be hard to come by these days.

First is what I think is an Islamic period glass gaming piece. Not a bead, but a very interesting piece.
Second is the first picture from last night's BCN Marisco's Margarita Summit 2020!
Thanks to Joy for getting us together.
We all sat in in an outdoor area and had a blast. Beads, flashlights, loupes: sharing stories, ideas and more.
