So few as-worn traditional bead compositions show up from Africa that I am always excited to find one. From an accumulation that includes both African and Naga bead strings and beaded necklaces, these were marked as African but I am not sure.

The necklace is probably Kuba—though I could not rule-out Nigerian (Yoruba). JDA.

Too obvious, I just asked the owner what it was sold to him as - Yoruba diviner's necklace.
