Hello!
These beads came my way today. Maybe they are carved glass Mandarin Court Necklace beads? One of the four large beads has a hole drilled perpendicular to the main hole.
The pearls are interesting to me. They are quite lovely and appear to be made in layers with a clear layer over the pearly layer. Pictured below are some damaged ones that hopefully show this a little.
I wonder where and when they were made. Looking for "cased glass pearls" has gotten me nowhere.

can they be hollow blown bubble-like beads with the nacreous pearly coating on the inside?
the chinese today make hollow glass beads with designs painted on the inside surfaces- and hollow beads imitating pearls are or were made in europe early 20th C to meet the demand...
