Hello Bead Collectors, I would like to invite you to our show in Green Valley (30 miles south of Tucson). It's a scenic drive and takes only 30 minutes. On account of the influx of Chinese "Venetian" beads and the high cost to exhibit in the Tucson shows, my husband and I decided to become self-promoters and create our own show in the lovely retirement community of Green Valley. We enjoy exhibiting in this personal atmosphere but it's been difficult to get buyers and collectors to make the trip to Green Valley. In addition to a huge selection of contemporary Venetian glass beads, we have glass rod from the Costantini Company, bead sample cards from the 40s, vintage clasps and lampwork beads, seed beaded flowers from 1914-18 (used for creating funeral wreaths during WWI), Ercole Moretti necklaces, Franchini murrine, a collection of millefiori slices from the 1970s, chevrons, Murano glass chandelier pieces, vintage seed beads, and lots of finished pieces. Our show opens one day prior to the Gem Mall/Holidome so please come! My book will be available too! Thank you, Nicole and Francesco

This is a really worthwhile "field trip" when in Tucson

Besides the relaxing sales room - which has an outdoor patio for bead chats and snacking, and of course the super bead selection - there is the opportunity to visit the interesting Mission San Xavier del Bac which you will see from the freeway when driving to Green Valley.

Head south out of Tucson on the 19 - takes just about 30 minutes to get to the Green Valley show.

And San Xavier is very worth visiting, too.

And there's nothing like it within the Tucson shows! Venetian glass bead fans should not miss it, nor should they miss a chance to get a copy of

"The Glory of Beads: The Rise & Fall of the Societa Veneziana per l’Industria delle Conterie" directly from Nicole Anderson.
