Firstly, sorry about other posting, pushed enter with out thinking. I could do with some help please, I have these lovely green beads that iv been told are end of day glass mill's would anyone know where they are from and how old they may be? also if they have any value as I have a customer that wants me to design a necklace for her, please help.

Hi Tulip,

There is really practically no such thing as an "end of the day" bead. Or, we might say most of the beads called this are not so-made. They are ongoing specific styles of beads, made in consistent large quantities.

As a beadmaker, I have made many end-of-the-day beads from scraps that are left over from beadmaking sessions. They tend to be unique or very small "editions" of beads. But this is in the medium of polymer, which has a different modus operandi from glass.

I think your beads are recent inexpensive beads from India. (However, similar beads are also made in Japan.) Of course, Pakistani beads are similar to those from India, and are often sold as "India" beads too.
