My friend Linda is in CA for some antiqueing and came across this bead(?) the seller says is an ancient gaming piece. I can’t see if it has a perforation from the pic and she hasn’t answered me yet. Seller says he knows Joyce and that Bassem has one like this. Any insight?

Linda did not buy it. It was $200 and there is no hole/perforation.

It certainly is as represented, Joy! I helped Charlie out with the small collection of ancients that he got about a year ago. Offered on this very site, it was, around that time. :)

Linda enjoyed meeting Charlie. When she sent me that photo I had no idea what it was - had never heard of this gaming piece thing. Shows there is always more to learn, right?
