Hi there,
These beads intrigue me. The vessel shaped beads are each of a different material. The squat one is quite hard, like a stone, the other black one is like clay, or a very hard wood, the pinkish one like soapstone.
The rest seem to be of various shells. Some are worn and rounded, some have irregular facets.
There are a few that are malachite.
Where might they be from? New? Old? A mix?

Nice! I believe these are Pre-columbian beads from Peru. Mostly shell; the dark maroon/reds, yellow and purple are spondylus (spiny oyster)shell. The dark green may be turquoise. The large black are likely ceramic. Over the last several decades I have acquired similar strands in several locations in Lima and southern Peru. Strand could include reproductions.
