Fred, I have the imagination to simply know this piece is strikingly beautiful in person. And I've struggled enough with asymmetrical design to value the untold hours that go into it's construction. Thank you for showing it!

When laid flat on a table, you can better see the construction…

I like to collect bits and pieces, never really intending to put them together into a necklace. But. in the end, this seems to be the best form for showing together, and keeping together. Hopefully, in turn, another custodian will be able to keep this collection together.

While I would love to show it off, I would look eccentric wearing this necklace because I am a man…Lena Young on Facebook suggested I could try wearing it with Pakistani style Kurta pajamas in white linen. I may try this but where and when would I wear this? I am afraid I would look like the bride in a gay wedding. Or, like Johnny Weir is my role model...!

Johnny Weir would not be worthy of this.

A fabulous formal gala would be the perfect place to show this off - I can picture it over a rich woven kaftan or a simple black high neck tunic. I think black would be more impactful than white, JMHO. Glass of champagne in right hand of course.

Giorgio Armani says his designs are only fifty percent successful. And I would agree with fifty percent success rate in neckwear design is doing well.

A recently made pendant: an antique Indian carved black stone featuring Sree Lakshmi's foot - symbolizing the devi's presence - set with gold, ebony wood, leather and an ancient amazonite bead from Mali (thus not out of place here).
The three pegs stand for the three boons of Fortuna/Lakshmi: health, wealth, love.

Size: 102 x 63 mm.

The bezel set glass sphere just lacking a hole to be considered a bead...
